Derek is the lead artist for the "Pantone of the Cuyahoga River" mural project that will be on the North Facing side of Cuyahoga Valley Art Center - CVAC!

 

A Cleveland artist with roots in theme park caricature, bringing vibrant public art to our town! With a BFA in encaustic painting and

nearly 50 murals to his credit, including a massive 728-foot mural, Ohio’s second-largest!

Derek is dedicated to sparking conversation and accessibility through art. He is collaborating with students from Cuyahoga Falls High School’s Public Art class, offering them an inside look into his process.

Valley Art center April 24th for the Cuyahoga Falls All City Art Walk

CVAC received more than 20 applications from artists for the mural project, with a selection committee including:
